Red Bull and the sport of human pyramids… a dangerously exciting combination that makes up one of the worlds most spectacular sporting experiences. In 2015 the Maharashtra State government as an adventure sport, giving Red Bull the perfect opportunity to create one of their most exciting sporting platforms yet, officially recognized the ancient tradition of Dahi Handi. In august of 2015, Red Bull Jod Ke Tod, the world’s first official Dahi Handi Championship with 40 participating teams from Mumbai including 10 women’s teams, battling it out to make the fastest human pyramid. The Entertainment Co. got on board as the on ground partner building this never before property from scratch. From generating participation, to ground production, sport and safety management, the team helped put together and experience that Red Bull global recognizes as one of their top 10 sporting events in the world.
In 2016 the excitement grew bigger from 40 teams in 2015, the participation grew toover 150 teams in 2016. Qualifiers rounds were held in 4 locations across Mumbai determining the top 40 fastest teams that raced skywards to be crowded the champions of the 2nd edition.
